Epistolary Poem

Letter to my future wife
The time will come when were meant to meet
We will come together in joyous love
I will give you showers of flowers and kisses, like its Valentine’s Day
I will give my whole heart to you, that I vow to you

A vow, a word of promise, my promise to show you ceaseless love
I bow to you my princess and hope that one day you will be my queen
You are the woman to give me all I that dream and hope for
You will give me the life that I crave for, one with a career and a family

Now as I write to you I think of the murderous eyes and natural beauty you will have
The smile that will light up a room, that makes the world go around
The happiness you bring me will validate all of the heart-ache I ever felt
Now the question is when will I meet you?

I will meet you when the sun rises in the morning and when it sets at night
I will find you when I least expect it- when life does not call for it
I make the promise to find you, to go to the ends of the earth
But for now my heart will break and throb waiting for you to enter it
