The Fields of Dreams
As the wind whispers the memories to my back
I think of the times of triumph and utter failure
The times I hit the long ball, got a sack, and fell flat on my face
The grass so green and grand like a spring day
The rickety chain link fence plays as the border between my dreams
I feel anxious to get out there once again
To be able to try to reach my dreams
To be able to be called a champion- a winner
To be able to be called a champion- a winner
To be able to try to reach my dreams
I feel anxious to get out there once again
The rickety chain link fence plays as the border between my dreams
The grass so green and grand like a spring day
The times I hit the long ball, got a sack, and fell flat on my face
I think of the times of triumph and utter failure
As the wind whispers the memories to my back
